Clarence Mark No 447
 
On Monday 2nd of October W.Bro George Skarratts was installed into the chair of Clarence Mark Lodge 447 for the second time.The Installing Master was W.Bro Michael Mansfield Corbett. there was also an advancement on the same evening.

The W. M. opened the Lodge in due form and after business he invited W.Bro Alan Lowe into the Masters chair for the advancement ceremony, with W.Bro Brian Davies acting as Senior Warden and W.Bro George Skarratts acting as Junior Warden.and R.W. Bro. Peter Connolly Senior Deacon.

The candidate on this occasion was Bro Roy Newall a member and past Master of St.David's Lodge 2950 in Runcorn.the candidate was installed in great stead much to the acclaim of the Representative of the R.W.P.G.M. W. Bro Derek Alan Horrocks who congratulated W.Bro Alan Lowe for his efforts along with the rest of the team.Also W.Bro Walter Pritchard for his efforts in describing the signs and the working tools.
 
W.Bro Alan then invited the W.M. to return to his chair who then went on to install W.Bro. George Skarratts into the chair of Adoniram. The working tools and the address to master was carried out by the Chaplain. the new Master W.Bro George presented a cheque for £100.00 for the Mark Masonic Charity to the representative,and then went on to close the Lodge whilst all retired to the Festive Board.
